Creating Safer, More Connected Streets in New Brunswick
The City of New Brunswick, in partnership with the NJTPA, is developing a Complete Streets Implementation Plan to improve access to the train station area and the surrounding downtown neighborhoods. The Complete Streets Plan plan will explore ways to make streets, sidewalks, crossings, bicycle routes, transit connections, lighting, and other public spaces safer, more accessible, and easier to use. The goal is to make it easier for people of all ages and abilities to walk, bike, take transit, drive, and reach local and regional destinations.
